When is the last time you’ve received a handwritten letter in the mail? When I lived in Wyoming I used to send letters back and forth with my Grandma. It was always special to open the mailbox and see something besides bills and junk mail inside. I’m also one of the rare people who has always enjoyed writing thank you cards and would write one after receiving gifts – somehow it made me appreciate them even more.
I want to extend that experience out into the community/world with this Gratitude Doodle Project. The project would involve sending a special letter to the person (or organization) of your choice with a handwritten letter expressing your gratitude and a small one of a kind ink sketch just for them.
Included:
-Small one of a kind sketch
-Handwritten personalized thank you note
-Standard envelope
-Postage via USPS (USA delivery only)
Basically you provide the message, and I will create a sketch, hand-write the message, and mail it out to the special person(s).
For anyone who may not be familiar with my drawings, below are a couple examples of my style of ink sketches from this year’s inktober challenge.
