New Year’s Eve Review

Every year I like to take a moment to look at all the progress I’ve made over the past year and set some goals for the year ahead.  2017 was a huge year for me and I know that 2018 is going to be even more amazing!

Great Things That Happened in 2017:

So many great things happened this year.  This year I put an emphasis on personal and professional growth.  I made an effort to look at myself and make improvements in my health and my surroundings.   This year I am the proud aunt of another beautiful baby boy – Jacob (as well as a proud aunt of his big brother Benjamin who turned two this year).   And I was able to pay off a couple of my debts (Yay!).

Perhaps the biggest change of the year is that I made the decision to leave my full-time job to pursue life as an artist!  I cannot wait to see what 2018 has in store!  I know there will be all sorts of adventures and projects ahead.  I’m going to take each challenge one step at a time and learn and grow while doing it.

New Works for 2017:

This year brought 50 new paintings!  (Also three dozen or so painted ornaments.)
