Day 28: Packaged
I mentioned earlier in the series that I would share more about how I package my art to ship. I like to be extra careful in my packing to make sure that everything gets to you in its original condition.
Drawings are typically backed with foam core board so they don’t get bent in shipping. Works are slipped into acid free plastic sleeves to prevent any damage on the rare case of moisture getting to the package (or say the box gets dirty or you’re trying to eat a bbq sandwich while opening).
I include a packing list, a business card, and a handwritten card. I try to reuse boxes and packing materials when I can to help reduce waste.
All readymade items are shipped within 3-5 days.
