Little Pumpkins

Last year I painted this series of little pumpkins.  I still love them so much that I decided they deserved another blog post showing the collection.  Right now I have them displayed in my studio so I can enjoy them, but the originals are all available for sale in my new GoImagine shop if there are any that you fall in love with. I’ve tried to pick my favorite of the bunch, but I like them all for their own different little reasons.

Laura Jaen Smith is an artist who lives and works out of Horseheads, New York. Her inspiration comes from observing the beauty she sees around her.  After a decade living out west, she returned back to New York State and started seeing the same old places with new eyes.  She is most interested in capturing small moments in nature that might otherwise be overlooked.
