Inktober 2020: Days 1-4

It’s October, which means it’s time for the annual Inktober drawing challenge!  Are you participating this year?

Inktober is a drawing challenge that encourages artists to create a drawing each day with ink based on a list of daily prompts.  The challenge lasts all 31 days of October and happens each year at this time.  You can go here for the official rules and prompt list.

The challenge is a great way to grow as an artist by practicing each day for the entire month.  It’s for ALL ages and skill levels, starting with first time beginners to seasoned professionals.  You don’t have to have any fancy materials to get started – you could participate with just a regular ballpoint pen and a scrap piece of paper or post-it note.

Let’s take a look at my first few drawings for this year’s challenge!
