100 Day Project 2022: Part 10

Have you been enjoying the warm weather lately?  I’ve been spending a lot of time (maybe too much time) outside gardening this past week, but I still got in my daily art.  Here’s what I worked on for days 81 through 87 of the 100 Day Project.  If you’re not familiar with the 100 Day Project or want to take a look at the previous days, check out my recent blog posts.

This week I started a brand new Sketchy Tree drawing that’s coming along great.  Here’s a look at it so far.  Also, mark July 1st 5-8pm in your calendar for opening night where my Sketchy Trees will make their gallery debut!

I also varnished and put the backing hardware on the waterfall painting that I finished last week.  This painting is of one of the beautiful waterfalls from Cascadilla Gorge in Ithaca, NY.  I’m excited how it came out!  What do you think?  Do you think I should do more wood slice paintings?

We’re now getting towards the end of the project!  Are you participating in the 100 Day Project this year too?  I’d love to know what your project is and follow along!
