It’s time for the 100 Day Project again! They decided to change the date to now instead of the beginning of April so I’ve been in a rush to decide on my idea and get ready to go. I think I’m finally on track though.
The project started up on January 31st. Every year thousands of people worldwide commit to 100 days of exploring their creativity. For the project you choose your focus, do something towards it each day for 100 days, and post about it on instagram using the hashtag #the100dayproject. You can learn more on the official website: the100dayproject.org.
This will be my third year participating in the project – the first year I did 30 mins in the studio everyday and last year I did 100 days of being present via video on social media. Both times I found it really productive and fun.
For my project this year, I’ve decided to step it up a notch and challenge myself to create a small painting each day for 100 days. It feels like quite an undertaking, but I know I can do it. I’ve divided up the 100 days into different themes with five paintings in each collection (that way I can change things up and not get bored).
Here are the paintings from this past week!
